If you consider Compass your church home, then you can understand the importance of welcoming visitors into that home. Our Connect Welcome Team does just that.
We welcome visitors to the church and assist them with finding classrooms, etc. We also provide them with important information about the church and its various programs. Once that connection is made, we follow up with visitors to see if we can further help them with their transition into their new church home. In addition to working with visitors, we are a conduit for existing members to help them with current events at the church and ministry opportunities that are available.
Requirements: This position meets 30 minutes prior to any given service and works approx. 15 minutes into the worship time. We gather again after the service is over and stay approx. 15-20 minutes to work at the Connect Welcome Table. We follow up via email or a phone call with visitors we meet. This is done during the week at each individual’s convenience.
